Pictures here of the scene at the top of George Street in Perth as fire crews dealt with a small basement fire. The fire had originally been reported as a chimney fire and and a large amount of smoke was seen to be coming from the chimneys.

Three Perth appliances were joined by additional appliances from Coupar Angus, Auchterarder and Newburgh along with the Command Support Unit from Dundee. A second aerial appliance from Dundee attended but was not required and remained standby at Perth.
