Pictures here of the scene as fire crews tackle a large blaze at the Waverley Hotel in Perth which has been derelict for a few years now. Three appliances from Perth including an aerial appliance were joined by an appliance from Dunkeld, and four from Dundee including an aerial appliance, command support unit and operational support unit.

The fire which broke out at 9.40 was finally under control by 1.55
